The theme of the article is a "business makeover". About six months ago after reading another business makeover feature, I emailed the Herald myself because I had decided around that time to begin shifting the focus of Body Well from a luxury type of service to more of a medical massage provider accepting insurance. This was in large part due to the recession which was understandably making it more difficult for many prospective and current clients to afford our services. This strategy shift created new challenges including everything from operations to marketing.
I guess the Herald liked the concept, and they surprised me a few months later (after I had completely forgotten about it), saying they wanted to run the story! I spoke a few times with the assigned reporter, they matched me up with a business coach, and finally, sent a photographer to snap some shots one afternoon.
