Company Teams with Dr. Gary Norwood to Provide Chinese Medicine Alternatives
PLANTATION, FL (April 17, 2007) – Body Well Inc., a provider of managed massage and wellness services, announced today that it will now offer acupuncture in addition to massage therapy.
The new service is made possible by a partnership with Dr. Gary Norwood, a licensed Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist, and Chinese Medical Doctor who has practiced the healing arts for over 25 years.
Acupuncture has been used successfully for more than 5000 years to treat a variety of specific medical conditions including musculoskeletal injuries, sciatica, arthritis, migraine headaches, digestive disorders, acid reflux disease, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and more.
To become certified, one must complete several years of training in Traditional Chinese Medicine at an accredited school or university, in addition to passing state licensing examinations.

Dr. Norwood was born and raised in Australia, where he started his career in physical training instruction and massage therapy. He then went on to study acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. He has worked in Europe and throughout the United States, specifically in Florida since 2001.
