Company Collaborates With Nonprofit Organization to Help Show Appreciation for Hard Working Military Nurses
Bethesda, MD (PRWEB) October 29, 2014
Body Well Therapy, a provider of on-site massage therapy services in the DC Metro, Florida and other regions, announced that it joined ArtStream, a DC area-based nonprofit dedicated to providing artistic opportunities to underserved communities, to provide free mini chair massage therapy sessions to hospital nurses at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) on October 16th.
Several Body Well Massage Therapists, after undergoing routine security screenings, were granted access to the military base to provide the complementary services, in conjunction with ArtStream.
“We’re very thankful that ArtStream reached out to us to provide this much deserved service to the nurses at Walter Reed,” commented Daniel Melmed, Owner of Body Well. “We’re often visiting various medical facilities during National Nurses Week, but being called upon to visit military nurses serving our active duty and veteran military personnel at a world-renowned facility like Walter Reed in Bethesda is really a special privilege and an honor.”
