Injury and Disabled Massage Therapy.
Body Well provides highly specialized in-home massage therapy services nationwide. The two main categories are massage rehab after a work injury or car accident (massage through workers comp or auto injury insurance claims), and massage for those with special needs or disabilities. The latter is often done in conjunction with a care provider or legal guardian.
We offer our services through insurance when possible (a prescription for massage will be needed for that) or on a cash (or invoiced) basis for those with means to self-pay. At this time we are unable accept Major Medical or Medicare.

What You Should Know About Clinical Massage for Injuries and Special Needs in your Home
What We Do
Body Well provides nationwide in-home massage therapy services for those who require injury rehabilitation services after a car accident or work injury, and for those who have special needs or disabilities, including those who may be homebound or bedridden. We work through insurance when possible, and on a cash (or invoiced) basis otherwise.
Insurance Coverage for Post-Injury In-Home Massage
With regard to accepting insurance for our in-home massage, at this time, the types of insurance we are able to except for in home massage include most workers compensation plans and many auto insurance plans.
If you have been injured and have a medical claim with benefits available, please do not hesitate to contact us. We can provide a free benefits analysis and determine if your massage therapy can be covered. Most major medical insurance programs, including PPO and Medicare do not cover our services, or at least we are not able to bill those programs for reasons beyond our control. We hope this may change some day soon.
Massage for Special Needs and Disabilities
We also have many clients with various kinds of disabilities or special needs who benefit greatly from our at home massage services. We have worked with individuals facing all different kinds of physical and neurological challenges ranging from traumatic brain injury (TBI) to dementia, Parksinson’s Disease, MS, cancer and more.
Usually the person receiving massage in these cases has difficulty leaving the home to obtain therapy elsewhere, and in some cases may be bed-bound. Often it is a family member who contracts us, and in other cases it is a legal guardian or other kind of healthcare management agency, such as a hospice group or home health agency. We have experience making things simple for individuals and organizations trying to provide a better quality of life for someone under their care.
How We Find the Best Massage Therapist for You
We have a very high success rate in quickly contracting the right person for the job at hand, and usually can secure a qualified practitioner within about one week.
Our goal is to find the right massage therapist for each individual client. If for any reason a therapist that we initially select does not end up being a good fit, we are more than happy to find a different one and will continue to do so until everyone’s needs are met.
