61% of Americans are stressed out about work, as well as about other things in their lives. Carrying this stress from day to day can really impact someone’s work performance, especially if they handle important tasks.
While you can never completely eliminate sources of anxiety, you can certainly decrease their effects. One such way is through a corporate chair massage.
If you’re wondering what the price of one is, then keep reading! We’ll tell you, plus the benefits you can reap from them.
Some Important Factors to Consider
In general, one massage therapist can handle 4 to 5 people per hour, using 1 chair. If you’re planning on booking more than 5 hours, we highly recommend you hire at least 2 therapists for the job. This can ensure every person gets the attention they deserve and that our massage therapists don’t get tired out.
If you’re doing a multi-day or team event, we charge $60 to $65 per hour. We can offer even lower rates if you plan on making massages a regular thing in your office!
Gratuity
Our massage therapists work hard to provide you with the stress and pain relief you need. This is why we add a 10% gratuity fee on top of the total. The gratuity may also be $20 per therapist, whichever is greater.
These gratuity amounts will be charged per day. Of course, you’re always welcome to tip our massage therapists even more if you feel they’ve done a fantastic job.
Benefits of Getting a Corporate Chair Massage
Now that you know a bit about the pricing of corporate chair massages, you should learn a little about the benefits of getting one. We promise you it’s worth every penny you spend.
It’s Relaxing
The most obvious benefit you get from massages is relaxation. Even one in your office can provide a temporary respite from all the worries of life.
As our massage therapists work with their skilled hands on your aches, you’ll forget about everything; from upcoming deadlines to family troubles, those thoughts will quickly vacate your head and you’ll be filled with peace.
Because you get a small break from work, you’ll find it easier to get back into things and may even find yourself working more efficiently than before.
It Can Help With Anxiety and Depression
If you or your employees struggle with mental health issues, massages can benefit you in this aspect as well. Like we said above, massages provide you with a small safe space to get away from stressful things in life.
Also, studies show massages may be promising for helping with anxiety and depression. The human touch is incredibly powerful, so don’t underestimate how much your mental state can improve just from a session or two.
It Helps Muscle Pain
It may sound strange, but there are actually quite a few workplace injuries you can get even at a computer. These are called repetitive stress injuries; as the name suggests, if you do a motion (or a few) repetitively, you can injury that body part.
While you may not have any serious damage just yet, you still may have some knots or painful spots here and there. If you don’t have these taken care of, they can quickly develop into something that impacts your health more.
Not only can massages relax you, but they can also take care of those knots and painful areas. Massage therapists are trained to manipulate your body parts carefully so you get maximum relief, without risk of further injury. As a result, you may feel more refreshed and ready to tackle your day’s work.
It Improves Your Sleep Quality
Technically, massages don’t affect your sleep quality directly. But since they can have such a calming and soothing effect on you, it can have the advantageous side effect of better quality sleep.
If you are unable to sleep a wink, and toss and turn often, you’ll see a negative impact on your work. Give your employees a chance to sleep better and you’ll see them perform a lot better.
It Relieves Headaches
Headaches can really take a toll on you, especially when they’re frequent. They may also be persistent, even after you’ve taken a Tylenol or two.
This is where massage can help. Not only can it reduce the stress causing your headache, but massage therapists also know where to press on your temples to alleviate your symptoms.
Improve Office Relationships
When everyone’s tense, it can lead to more workplace conflicts. As a result, morale may sink and not only are people in foul moods, but productivity also suffers.
Corporate chair massages allow your employees to not be so wound up. This can lead to better communication and relationships. Employees can even bond by chatting about the wonderful chair massages they had.
Take Good Care of Yourself and Your Employees
By allocating some of your budget for a corporate chair massage, you’re investing in the well-being of your employees. When they get to get some stress relief at work, they’ll end up more productive in the long run.
Plus, you can show your employees how much you appreciate their hard work with the reward of a relaxing massage. When you look at it from any angle, it’s a win-win situation.
