Here are some questions and answers with Murielle:

What is your favorite thing about being a massage therapist?

My favorite thing about being a massage therapist is how I enjoy getting people to relax, as well as making them feel better. Whether through good vibrations of healing energy,  vigorous bodywork, or comforting therapeutic touch, I love, love, love the positive effects of my craft. I am a free spirit who enjoys the change of scenery with being mobile as well as interactions with different people. Another favorite is the flexibility and freedom I have with time.

How would you describe your personal style of massage?

You can call me the “Muscle Whisperer”.  I like to operate in consistent flow. Which means that each massage is unique as each person that I touch is unique. I give every person that I touch a 100% massage experience every time for real, no shortcuts. From a 7 minute chair massage to a 90 minute full body, I make sure that the massage feels complete because I really love what I do. I consider myself a healer with intuitive hands to gauge the senses that can find the areas that need the energy of my therapeutic touch.

What do you enjoy about working with Body Well?

I enjoy the people. From the staff who are always attentive to my emails and text messages. When I call in to Bodywell I am always greeted by a friendly voice. They are personable in that they care. A few years ago I had a tragedy in my family and Bodywell extended comfort to me for which I am grateful. Also to the clients who I have an opportunity to service that are always so happy to see me when I come. They appreciate my gift of providing massage.

Why did you become a massage therapist?

I could remember from when I was a little girl around the age of nine, I used to massage my mothers’ legs. She was a diabetic with fibromyalgia and poor circulation. At the time I had no idea of the disease. I only know that she loved when I would rub the lotion on to her dry, sensitive skin and put her to sleep comfortably for hours.  I grew up and sought a career that I did not find any fulfillment in but stayed for the money for years.  In 2005 When I was tired of being miserable made a decision to do what I loved and went to massage school.  Best decision ever.  People have always felt better after I would touch them so now it is a part of my path, plus I get paid for it.

*Michael explains more about one of his passions – Whole Body View:

The WholeBody View is a hands-on bodywork approach to movement therapy that utilizes gentle invitational movements. These techniques facilitate profound relaxation while releasing deep-seated restrictive bodymind patterns. Most recipients report an immediate increase in neuromuscular mobility and a return towards one’s optimal performance

What is your favorite thing about being a massage therapist?
My favorite aspect of being a massage therapist is practicing my focus on my client and attention to detail. This allows me to work more carefully and keep my ambition in check because the body does the healing, I’m just the guide.

How would you describe your personal style of massage?
Although I have a medical massage background I feel like my style has its own uniqueness. I try my best to be rhythmical with my movements but subtle enough not to disrupt the natural rhythms and healing mechanisms of my clients body.
